We all know that sunspots, solar flares, and sun cycles affect life on earth, and scientists are pretty sure when the sun almost goes down that it will expand and consume the earth and then recede, anything living on the surface of the earth at that time will perish, while the seas boil well, you get the picture. Now what if intelligent beings use their advanced technology to drive our sun crazy?
Well, this is actually just part of the plot in one of the best science fiction books I’ve ever read. Based on science and science fiction, this book will excite all of its readers and hence I highly recommend it. The book is:
“Sunstorm” (Book Two of Time Journey) by Arthur C. Clarke and Stephen Baxter; Random House Publishing Group, Inc., New York, NY 2005.
We are all familiar with the later work of Arthur Clarke and anyone who is a big fan of science fiction also knows the work of Stephen Baxter in great pieces such as:
- forked: time
- Variety: Space
- Variety: the original
- stage space
- development
- Fusion
- cheery
- Unlimited
- brilliant
- empire
- Conqueror
- wafer
- navigator
- Flood
- Astronomy
- Moonseed
- Behemoth
- H bomb girl
Arthur C Clarke and Stephen Baxter have co-authored a number of books such as:
- Sun storm

Arthur C Clarke and Stephen Baxter are two of the best science fiction writers of all time and belong alongside names like Isaac Asimov and Gene Roddenberry. I know you will enjoy reading this book as well as the two others he wrote together, and I am sure we will have many great books by Stephen Baxter in the future, as he is one hell of a writer and thinker.
